Dance for All

The National Dance Society, in collaboration with Arizona Health and Physical Education will host an all-day, dual-track (student and professional) eclectic dance workshop that will focus on a wide array of genres of dance for all ages, all levels of experiences and previous knowledge, and/or to ponder what dance is!

One track, specifically geared towards the student population, will offer sessions in technique, which may include Modern and Contemporary, Tap and Musical Theater, Ballroom and choreographic sessions.

The student sessions will target students with some technical expertise, generally an intermediate technical level, although session leaders will make accommodations to include dancers of all backgrounds.

The professional track will focus on the teacher tasked with teaching dance who may need additional resources or simply wishes to stay abreast of current trends in dance education.

Leaders/authors in the dance educational arena will presents sessions focusing on some movement sessions and creative ideas for developing curriculum, but also on ideas such as developing on-line dance courses.

Join the team of experts in dance for a day of informative, engaging activities.
