There is something special about taking a moment to stop, celebrate, and recognize the people who make a difference every day. This October, Arizona Health and Physical Education (AZHPE) is excited to do just that!

Join us for the 2026 AZHPE Honors & Recognition Night as we gather together to celebrate the incredible physical educators, administrators, and professionals who are making an impact across Arizona.

Celebrating Those Who Make a Difference

Arizona is fortunate to have so many passionate, creative, dedicated, and inspiring physical educators working to provide meaningful physical education experiences for students.

Our teachers do so much more than teach sports and activities. They help students develop confidence, cooperation, perseverance, movement skills, healthy habits, and a lifelong appreciation for physical activity.

The AZHPE Honors & Recognition Night is our opportunity to shine a spotlight on these professionals and say:

THANK YOU for the work you do!

During the evening, AZHPE will recognize outstanding physical educators, administrators, and other professionals whose dedication and contributions have helped advance health and physical education throughout Arizona.

Whether they are inspiring students in the gym, supporting teachers and programs as administrators, advocating for quality physical education, or contributing to our profession in other meaningful ways, these individuals deserve to be celebrated.

An Evening of Celebration

We invite AZHPE members, honorees, colleagues, friends, and supporters to join us for an evening dedicated to recognizing the people who make our profession so special.

Light appetizers will be served before the ceremony, giving everyone an opportunity to mingle, reconnect with colleagues, and celebrate together before the awards begin.

Each award winner is permitted two guests to attend for free (so you and two others). If you would like to bring additional guests, a small cost of $5.00 per guest will be required.

Come celebrate the accomplishments of your colleagues and be part of an evening that reminds us just how strong and passionate the Arizona health and physical education community truly is.

After the ceremony, the AZHPE Board would love for you to continue the celebration with us!

2026 Arizona Health and Physical Education State Convention (27 Oct 2026)

Get ready for the 2026 Arizona Health and Physical Education State Convention at the Mesa Convention Center! Early bird registration is open now until September 25th. After September 25th, prices go up so register now!

PLEASE READ IF YOU ARE USING A P.O.!

If you are using a purchase order, please be sure to have your district's approval FIRST! You will be asked for a copy of that purchase order when you show up to the convention. When you register online, you will choose the 'manual payment' option, and then 'invoice me'. Once you are registered, the registration system will send you an invoice (please include the email for your accounts payable person at your district). Please submit the invoice to your accounts payable and send the Purchase Order form to the following address or email.

PLEASE register for yourself only! If there are multiple teachers from a district attending convention, please have each attendee register individually under their own name.

Want to come early? Enjoy the night before at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Phoenix Mesa, which is right next to the Mesa Convention Center. The hotel is graciously offering convention attendees a 20% discounted rate of $159/night.
